“Little Cargo” is an offering to festivals that follows a quirky character as she leaves home in a boat for faraway lands. After accumulating too many “cups and spoons, lamps and stools, chairs in pairs and kitchen tools” her boat almost sinks, until she lets go of all the STUFF. The show is adaptable to either environmental themes or to explore the universal ways we hold on to thoughts and emotions that can “sink our boat” which offers fun methods to facilitate this. Using a loop pedal to create a cinematic soundscape Mo entertains children and parents alike in this delightfully entertaining exploration of the theme Traveling Light.
Festival blurb 39 words:
“Little Cargo” is a fun family show about the dangers of filling our boat with stuff we don’t need, nearly sinking it. We sail to distant shores and learn lessons of letting go of stuff, while laughing about it.
